Privacy Policy

Invoice Drop ("the app") is made by Pulseni. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
The short version
The app does not collect any data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone unless you choose to share or export it.
What the app stores, and where
- Your own details (name or business, address, email, phone, VAT number, logo), your clients' details, your invoices and your unfinished draft are stored only on your iPhone.
- Bank details you choose to save for future invoices are stored in your iPhone's encrypted Keychain and are not synced to other devices.
- The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no server of its own. We never receive your information.
Voice
When you tap the microphone and say an invoice, your speech is turned into text by Apple's built-in speech recognition. Where your iPhone supports it this happens on the iPhone itself; otherwise Apple processes it under Apple's privacy policy. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, the words are then understood by Apple's on-device model, which runs entirely on your iPhone. The audio isn't stored and we never receive it. The app only listens while the microphone screen is open.
Address suggestions
When you type an address or postcode (yours or a client's), the text you type is sent to Apple Maps to suggest matching addresses. This is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; it isn't linked to your invoices and we never receive it. Your location is not used.
When information leaves your iPhone
Only when you choose to:
- Sharing an invoice PDF — it goes wherever you pick in the share sheet (for example Mail, Messages or Files).
- Backups — a backup file contains all of your invoice data, including bank details. It is saved wherever you choose. Keep it somewhere private.
- Spreadsheet export — a CSV of your invoices for a year, saved or shared wherever you choose.
Services you share to (such as Mail or iCloud Drive) handle that information under their own privacy policies.
Device backups
If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or a computer, the app's data may be included in that backup, as with other apps. This is managed by your device settings.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes its data from your iPhone. Backup or spreadsheet files you saved elsewhere are not affected; delete them from where you saved them.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
